Eames Plastic Armchair Bench seating ideal for use waiting and reception areas, museums and galleries. Designed in 1948 and first presented at the New York Museum of Modern Art competition “Low Cost Furniture Design”. The comfortable seat shell, made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, combined with a variety of bases. It was the first plastic chair to be mass produced. This particular version is a bench (2-5 units) on a T-cross bar, epoxy-coated basic dark with polished aluminium legs.
