Sleek, smooth and functional, Lotus and Low Lotus chairs are the latest designs by René Holten. Made from Cristalplant, a new composite material that's snowwhite, as hard as marble, soft to the touch and easy to clean. The design of the Lotus stretches the frontiers of this material to its limits. The way in which the moulded tablet flows into the shell is possible only with this sort of composite material. The central stainless-steel base with its four slim legs emphasises the sloping shape of the shell.
For the homes market, there is the Low Lotus. Like the office version, this low, wide, extremely comfortable armchair with a small tablet is a delight to the eye.
